Chessmat

Made in cotton canvas, black cotton straps are weaved through to create the checkered pattern. The weave is then hand stitched in place with chain stitch. To finish, a line of blanket stitch is added, continued with frailing of black straps for a solid black border on either ends. The mat was designed to add portability often not found in wooden/plastic chess boards.
