Humanitarian Innovations Lab
HI Lab is an initiative to bring together local, national, and international humanitarian agencies operational in India, to reflect, mobilize, and act in ways that have never been done before and are beyond the scope and culture of the current humanitarian architecture. The client wanted a fun and playful event identity that brought forward the spirit of community work and the zest of innovation. Taking inspiration from the event tagline 'Flip the notion', we created an abstraction of a flipping coin that served as the identity of the event and laid a foundation for building a visual language. The typography uses a combination of Analogue OS and Poppins. The pixel typeface for headings was chosen to reflect the building blocks and how coming together gives birth to bigger forms. We chose a color palette of bright happy colours that made the exhibit look approachable. Circles from identity are used throughout to create a cohesive visual language and add pops of color throughout the exhibit.
